Goodwill Industries and Dell partnered to recreate RECONNECT, a free program for consumers to reuse and responsibly recycle unwanted electronics.

Simply bring in your unwanted technology to one of our Goodwill stores or donation drop-off centers. RECONNECT will refurbish or recycle the equipment, benefiting our community and putting people to work.

What you need to know

• This program is absolutely FREE! Any brand computer is eligible for donation

• You are responsible for removing data from your hard drive

• Neither Dell nor Goodwill Industries takes any responsibility for your data

• Donations may be tax deductible. Check with your tax advisor for more information about eligibility and how to value your donation.

Did you know?

Electronics contain environmentally sensitive materials. These devices can be responsibly recycled, but only if we work together to keep them out of landfills in the first place. Computer, computer accessories and electronics donations may be brought to any of Goodwill's retail locations or attended donation centers. Computers and electronics donated to Goodwill do not need to be in working order, but customers are responsible for removing all personal information before the donation occurs. Donations of any brand of used computers and electronics are accepted.
